When the last addition to the Watch Dogs series was teased, we did not know what to expect. While the previous entries were correct, Part 3 would certainly need to impress. Once Watch Dogs Legion was officially announced and we could see a gameplay, we were shocked, impressed and a bit skeptical if Ubisoft could succeed as impressive as being able to recruit and play as anyone than you See. At E3 2019, we were able to try it by ourselves and we were really surprised and very excited by the launch of this game. Of course, if you would like to know more about our impressions, you would like to view the video below.
Watch Dogs Legion takes place in the nearby future of London where CTOS – the widespread surveillance network in previous games – has now been used by an aggressive government that monitors the population as a whole and invades its privacy. Rather than having a main protagonist to unite people and fight against this invasion of privacy, Legion offers you the opportunity to recruit and play literally like any NPC you encounter in the street. Each NPC will have its own voice, motivations and skills to help you achieve your goals as you build a resistant force to try to stop CTOS once and for all. The game promises a lot of features never seen before that – in our time with the game – seem to be in order and could actually be true, but it is still too early to say if this mechanism will be remote or become repetitive with time.
Watch Dogs Legion should go out on October 29 this year and will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Google Stadia. For more information, visit the official game website.
