A new sequel to Monkey Island, redgress to the island of Monos, has been officially announced by Terrible Toybox of Ron Gilbert in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games and return digital. The new title, which has been under secret for several years, will be launched this year and will serve as a continuation of the launched previously. The secret of the island of the monkeys and _monkey island 2: the revenge of lechuck while apparently ignored the titles launched after that. Gilbert is significantly the original designer and creator of the series.

For example, Gilbert and Dave Grossman (another designer in The secret of the island of monkeys) are attributed to the design and writing of the video game, and the title music is Michael Land, Peter McConnel and Clint Breakian. Frankly, and online with the humor of the Monkey Island series, Gilbert announced that a new Monkey Island was happening a couple of days ago… on the day of the innocents. “For 18 years, the Grumpy Gamer blog has been the day of the innocents for free because it is a stupid tradition.” Gilbert wrote at that moment. “Then, to mix things a little, I take this opportunity to announce that I have decided to make another island of the monkeys.”
