The highly acclaimed and award-winning co-op adventure game It Takes Two continues to hit new heights in sales. Developer Hazelight Studios has announced that the game has sold over 7 million copies to date.
The last time the studio talked about hitting 5 million was in early February of this year. This means that it took less than half a year for the adventure to attract about 2 million more players (or 4, if you include the Friend Version), which is an excellent indicator for last year’s game.
Due to its success, the game will receive a film adaptation, which will be released on Amazon. Among the producers of this film adaptation will be such a famous actor as Dwayne The Rock Johnson, who may even appear in the film.
It Takes Two is available on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
